Early 'Witching Hour' Script
Click the Adobe Acrobat folder to read an early script for 'The Witching Hour' by Anne Rice
Several years ago, I came across this early script Anne Rice wrote, an adaptation of The Witching Hour. So, I sent
her an email and asked if she wouldn't mind my adding it to the Parlor for fans to read. She said yes, and "why not?".
This was at least a decade before the AMC series first premiered in January 2023. Recalling now that it is here, it might
make a fascinating read to get a better idea of how Anne Rice would have wanted her Mayfair Witches to be onscreen.

The Parlor Launches 2008
Before I began refreshing this site, it was clear I had a lot of work to do. I was in the middle of redoing
the site when life kindasorta happened, but before I began, I wanted to keep a record of what was on the site and where.
So I archived it on Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. It made me do this page by page, and the navigation menu on the archived
page, unfortunately, does not work.
Or I haven't figured out how to make it work.
Each archived page can be seen when you click the page link in the list below.
Wow, what a difference! The site looks much better now, don't you think?
Pages Locked In Time
I put together a video survey of screenshots of what the Parlor looked like when it first
launched in 2008. It's a hoot!
It's come a long way since then, hasn't it?
